City Guide; A day in Chelsea NYC

Chelsea is a neighborhood on the West Side of the borough of Manhattan in New York City.
This mostly residential side of the city is known for it’s historical landmarks, unique parks and the socially diverse population.
Chelsea is also known as one of the centers of the city’s art world, with over 200 galleries in the neighborhood.

You could easily spend a few days exploring this side of town and I wouldn’t blame you coz it does have a lot to offer and there’s always something new waiting for you just around the corner.
But if you were to have ONE day only ,than this is my ultimate guide to a day well spent πŸ˜€

Start off early and head over to High Line, this repurposed railway turned into an urban park is definitely worth a visit; Soak up the beautiful views of the Hudson river while you sip on some gourmet coffee that you picked up at the Chelsea Market down on 9th ave.

After you’ve walked the 1.5mile stretch of the park make your way towards Eataly for some serious eats. This market type of place has the best Italian fare the City has to offer; from imported cheeses to fancy Italian wines that will make up for a good tasty lunch after all that walking :P.

  • Don’t forget to stop by the Flatiron Building to take one of those classic postcard worthy photos.

Now that your all nice and worked you probably wanna check out InScape. This beautiful spacious center offers group guided meditation sessions in a stylish, modern atmosphere. (Address: 45 W 21st St, New York, NY 10010) ;You’ll feel revitalized and ready to take on the city after your zen experience πŸ™‚
Head over to Juice Generation for a nice powerful green smoothie, and make your way to Whitney Museum.
– After finding your artsy self I’m sure your ready for some gallery hoping, there’s one literally in every corner (find your happy place).

It’s almost dinner time and I suggest you visit my favorite restaurant (soon to be your favorite) WestVille. This charming little place serves Fresh produce & locally sourced meats that will make for a nice hearty meal <3
Since they only serve up wine over at WestVille, maybe you wanna take the extra step and go at the Standard hotel Rooftop bar for some drinks and a spectacular view of the NYC skyline to wrap it all up!

Have a lovely week everyone and let me know if you like to see more city guide posts like this one πŸ˜€
